The AppleMadman won’t ask for your personal information unless he really needs it, for example when you enter a comment – this is only for spam filtering purposes, I’ll never sell you email address to some third party, and I won’t give it for free, either! If I’ll ever try to do such a thing, I’ll ask you nicely, first of all – you can refuse, no problem.
